Workout Log – Week of 4/27

Adam came and took his total gym thing… so now I need to figure out some new way to weight train. boooo.

3 Rad Dreams – Clint Eastwood, Super Heroes, and Dinner with the kids

I put on a nicotine patch after showering after working out late last night. I have not been using the patches much lately since they give me really vivid and usually traumatic nightmares. Eitherway, I have not been sleeping well lately. However, last night I had 3 really awesome dreams.

Workout Log – Week of 4/20

Things have been hectic with the house shopping, painting, etc and I have not been biking as much. yarg. However, now is not the time to give up ;)

House Pics!

I met with my realtor today to sign the counter offer. We met at the house, so I had a chance to take some pics. Sadly, I didn’t get many good ones, as I was in a bit of a hurry.

In da Haus

I made an offer on a house on Saturday and didn’t hear back until yesterday. The seller is a real estate guy himself and needed to talk to his investor to figure out a counter offer. I was worried that this would mean that my offer wasn’t taken seriously… since I offered $30k less than the asking.

Another Good Day – Art and House Update

I woke up this morning to a phone call from 2nd moon. It was the owner Cindy calling to verify that it was indeed cool to have an opening for my show there in May/June. She said it was cool to have wine/cheese etc. Sweeeeeet! I’ll be sending out invites today or tomorrow. I’m thinking May 4th around 4pm. Word.

A Great Day : Work, House, and Art Update…

It has been a very busy time lately and as such, I have been bad about writing. That is not to say that nothing is going on, however. Here are some updates in my world…

Workout Log – Week of 4/13

Last week got a wee bit busy and, although I started off pretty well, I didn’t do so much exercising after Tuesday. It didn’t help I suppose that I screwed up my shoulder last Tuesday at the Converge concert… damn hardcore kid mosh pits.

Al Pacino’s Jock Strap Party

I’ve never thought myself to be homophobic. I’m normally pretty supportive of LGBT issues. I even might be a wee bit flattered when I get hit on by a guy. I’m usually pretty cool about “gender” issues in general, even though the idea of trans-men giving birth and half sex changes is odd territory for me (as was touched upon in Krapp’s Last ‘Cast #6).

Please Pray, Meditate, Do whatever you do

My special lady friend Ashley informed me that her friend Kate might have a brain tumor. If you believe in the power of positive thought, then please shoot some in the D.C. direction for Kate. In what “the [bleep] do we know”, it was reported that Buddhist monks mass prayed to help lower the crime rate in D.C. and it worked. Maybe the same can be done for Kate. Good luck, you are in my thoughts.
