You know how everyone thinks their kids are great and going to become a president, hero, etc? I wonder if back in the day, everyone thought their kid was the child of Zeus. Somewhere among thinking that children were just spontaneously born,
Well, last week ended up being a crapshoot for working out. It was a buuusy week. Yarg. No worries. I seemed to be able to keep my weight under 210 in spite of cheating on my diet a few times eating pizza and some Arby’s.
Interesting video of Obama admitting smoking pot. In response to “did you inhale”, he remarks “that is the point”. Indeed.
I have been eating a lot of Amy’s organic soups in the last few weeks thinking they are better for me. They probably are, but ish, they all taste like salty onion mud. Black bean soup = dirty tasting onion mud. Vegetable barley = stagnate beer flavored onion mud. Split Pea Soup = BO flavored onion mud. I started off with the split pea soup, and after that had some diminishing returns, I tried the veggie barley. After that was another let down, I tried the Black Bean, which I am attempting to eat while I write this… yeah, unimpressed. At Amy’s soups are healthy.
The Stone Age didn’t end for lack of stone, and the oil age will end long before the world runs out of oil.
I started working out again more steadily this week. I’m doing better after my surgery and there was a momentary lapse in the chaos over at work. Also, I think most of the craziness with Adamantine Arts is nearly over. I’ll write on all this more later. It has been a clusterfuck of a few months.
