This is probably why our generation is so screwy. It sure didn’t help us be more creative… or if it did, MTV later in life undid that. Honestly, I swear our most impressionable years are when we are in our teens vs. when we are crying vegetables of kids being hypnotized by Sesame Street and the Ninja Turtles…
As a side rant. When I watch PBS now, it seems like it has fallen far from the beatnik roots of the 70s. Now it seems like a bunch of cold liberal professional types just trying to make their buck too. Apparently, Mocha replaced LSD and hip hop replaced acid jazz. snarf.
