I am starting to feel a lot better after surgery in the last few days and was getting all antsy lately about working out. Therefore, I started working out again tonite. We’ll see how my butt feels later to judge if it was too soon, but at the moment I am feeling pretty darn good. Endorphins! Endorphins!
I heard on the vomitus podcast 21 that there was a clip floating on Youtube about Fred Rogers testifying before senate in 1969 to secure funding for public television. Nixon wanted to cut the PBS grant in half and Fred Rogers went in and kicked some ass… in the relaxed Mr. Rogers style he is famous for. Bless his soul. With that said, was mr. rogers brain fried on acid? I mean, watch the Sesame Street videos from last post. I’m sure these guys at PBS all hung out at the after party. Hmm. Anyway, thanks to all you PBS peeps from that era.
This is probably why our generation is so screwy. It sure didn’t help us be more creative… or if it did, MTV later in life undid that. Honestly, I swear our most impressionable years are when we are in our teens vs. when we are crying vegetables of kids being hypnotized by Sesame Street and the Ninja Turtles…

Here are two vids for when I am feeling low. Both seem to work. The massive attack one is like a hug from Tracy Thorn sating “It is ok, everything will be ok babe”. The other is like a kick in the ass from Devin Townsend saying “Get your ass up you wuss, you have shit to do”.

I logged into myspace today to read a bulletin by Joe Aschebrock. The title read ” public access is important to our communities…” and then had two embedded you tube videos with some Star Wars knock off. At first, I thought it was a spoof since I didn’t recognize the show, and there is some terrible shows on Minnesota Public Access. However, it was legit and at the end of the video, it said “oppose the video competition act”.
