Eliot can’t seem to ever get the name of this blog correct. Damn you Eliot Phillips and your robot skirts.

Zines Are Far More High Tech Than They Used to Be… but still sucky…

I just thought this video was funny as hell since it seems a lot of people lately are doing DIY publishing but are too cool to call it a Zine.

Old Classmate Leah Culver started Pownce? wtf?

While talking to Joe Tower earlier this evening, we were talking about web 2.0 sites. He mentioned Pownce and said that he went to highschool with the founder, Leah Culver. The name rung a bell, so I asked if she went to the U of M. Lo and behold, it was the same Leah I knew from CSci classes. It is good to see fellow class mates are doing cool stuff when there are so many I know not doing very cool stuff (think office space and burger flipping).

Shout Out to Joe Tower

Shout Out to Joe Tower

A new addition to the Adamantine Arts team is Twin Cities Designer, Joe Tower. Joe was introduced to me through our Assistant Director Sarah Jordet. Joe will be doing various design duties for AA to offload some of the design work from our lead designer Zach Taylor.

Just Because it is Flat Doesn’t Make It a Chair…

Just Because it is Flat Doesn’t Make It a Chair…

I finally went out and bought a brand new chair. 5 years ago, I bought a crappy “executive chair” from Circuit City for 70 bucks. Within the last year, all the padding seemed to shift such that there was basically just a piece of vinyl between my butt and the wood that made up the seat structure. I blame this for my friend Taily. Well, I did it, after working for 10 hours yesterday on the prints service, I woke up with a really sore ass, and decided to buy a decent chair. So after further adui, I present to you, my sweet new “cocoa” color executive chair. Good bye Taily.

More than Meets the Mind

Try to tear through this. I was able to read it at normal speed. Pretty darn cool.

Is the US Political System on the Verge of Collapse?

I beg the question, “Is the US Political System on the Verge of Collapse?”

Brett Farve is Still Alive or a Zombie?

Brett Farve is Still Alive or a Zombie?

I was made aware this weekend by my roommate Chris that the big midwest rivalry game of the Vikings vs. Packers was taking place this weekend here in town at the Metrodome. I could care less really until I saw the headlines this morning at the coffee shop that Farve led the Packers to a 23-16 victory against the 0-3 record Vikings. Apparently, Farve became the winningest quarterback in NFL history last week in an anticlimactic victory over the crappy NY Giants defense. The victory this weekend pushed the record even farther further.
