I seem to have let myself fall in love again for the first time in ages and only the fourth time ever. However, in spite of knowing this going into things, being in love isn’t really an option now, if ever. So I should probably put my heart back in the fridge and think about other stuff.

I finally got Dave’s Mural done! About 12 hours of painting and a lot of booze went into getting this guy up. Sadly, Dave decided to move midway through the process and so this mural will probably be painted over when he leaves. So in a contemporary art sense, the artwork is the documentation – this video. Therefore, I hope you enjoy the shit out of it. I am not happy with the editing job, but i am getting better

Listening to the latest installment of the podcaust, Rob went on a side tangent a bout how comic artist Rob Liefeld sucks and commented about some site pointing out his horrific abilities via Rob Liefeld 40 worst drawings. I can’t agree more. I was a big fan of comics in the early 90s ala Xmen, etc. However, while I was definitively into the art, the story was the most important. The Xmen had the good fortune of having some great writers in the early 90s including Chris Claremont and Scott Lobdell
Ghandi is one of the most revered characters in history for his now immortalized plights against the British’s occupation of India. Without knowing a lot about Ghandi, I would otherwise assume that he was assassinated by a British aligned shooter – perhaps a political puppet trying to help maintain the crumbling British Empire or a businessmen that made his fortuned by being supported by the British.
After meeting with the surgeon on Monday and finding out that my surgery is moved back to the 28th, I decided now is a good time to get my butt in shape again. I know I have said this before, but I am actually doing pretty well. This is not the alpha by any means. However, last Feb/March when I was making a more orchestrated effort, I was doing a far better job tracking my progress. So I am going to try to start doing that again. The game plan is to have a separate post for each week (which will only be a few entries until the surgery and then probably a long hiatus until I am healed). My goal is to ride the bike 60 minutes each session and squeeze in 4 sessions per week. That should give me 4 hours on the bike per week, 2000 calories burt, and 60 miles ridden. Word.
